Panic! on the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band centered out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is made from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his formative years pal, Spencer Smiths (drums), which include their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their tune, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) by using his LiveJournal webpage. Impressed via the band, Wentz in my opinion met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band released their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which could debut at #112 on the Billboard 2 hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin mag as their band of the day in early October 2005, reaching #1 on the MySpace chart, and continuously staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, may best support develop the bands status. An look on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, at the ultimate in their song video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band a great deal exposure.
